I'm Akhil Matta, a software engineer currently pursuing a Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Ottawa. I enjoy building scalable backend systems, AI-powered applications and performance-oriented software with strong engineering fundamentals.

My experience includes microservices, asynchronous processing, concurrent programming, database optimization and real-time computer vision systems. I'm driven by deep learning, practical problem solving and building systems that are reliable, efficient and meaningful.
